RECESSION CONTINUES TO PUSH RENTAL HOUSINGFURTHER ‘OUT OF REACH’ FOR LOW INCOME AMERICANS A family in Florida needs to earn $20.29 an hour, or nearly $42,201 a year, in order to afford a modest rental home, according to a report released April 21 by the National Low Income Housing Coalition.
