Homelessness and housing insecurity primarily result from the shortage in affordable homes. Studies show Florida’s greatest need is housing for households with very-low incomes earning 50% or less of their area’s median income. These households often need supportive services to help them maintain their housing built on compassion and focused on the restoration of dignity and empowerment of those in need.
As continuums of care and service providers, we recognize you as steadfast champions, orchestrating programs that provide essential support to individuals experiencing homelessness and other vulnerabilities. Our team is here to help you employ best practices to assist households in obtaining stable, permanent housing as a foundation for rebuilding their lives, and to engage local stakeholders in developing more permanently affordable and supportive housing.
Our Pillars of Impact
- Training: We create tailored training experiences based on community need to advance the quality of service provision within homeless services and housing programs. Comprehensive education on best practices, policies and procedures ensures an efficient and effective homeless crisis response system from front-line staff to leadership.
- Strategic Planning: A multi-stakeholder strategic planning process is essential in detailing action plans with stakeholder buying and ownership necessary to achieve community-wide goals addressing homelessness and resources needed to achieve these local and regional goals.
- System Evaluation: improving our system of service and care is a necessary and an ongoing focus to ensure we meet the needs of those at risk of homelessness and currently experiencing homelssness. Through commitment to evaluate and improve systems, we can make our systems and services easier to access and navigate so they properly serve those it was intented to serve and impact.
