Case management has many roles and definitions throughout social service organizations. In this series, we look at the role of case management when working with households experiencing homelessness. Webinar 1 introduces participants to two major components of case management: engagement and assessment. This webinar teaches participants how to thoughtfully and effectively engage with households from the first interaction. Participants will be given tools on how to conduct appropriate assessments to better serve consumers. A brief introduction to case management models such as assertive engagement, critical time intervention, and intensive case management will be discussed.
