LAUREN THORNBERG is a Technical Advisor with the Florida Housing Coalition. Lauren has a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University, where she specialized in environmental planning and geographic information systems. Her primary academic focus is the intersection of the built environment and disaster-related resilience, particularly issues of extreme heat and flood risk. She has previously worked for the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control and Florida State University.
