George Romagnoli works for Neighborhood Lending Partners, where he serves as Senior Vice President/Senior Credit Underwriter and manages Government Relationships. Prior to joining Neighborhood Lending Partners, George Romagnoli served as the Regional Director of Development for Arbour Valley Communities. Prior to joining Arbour Valley Communities, George was Vice-President for Development for Tampa Bay Community Development Corporation. He also served as the planning director with City of New Port Richey and prior to that he served as the Community Development Director of the Pasco County Community Development Department, a position he held for 16 years. Before that, he served as Assistant Community Development Manager, Housing Coordinator, and Community Development Specialist for Pasco County. He started government service in the City of Largo, as a Housing Planner in the CDBG Program.
George received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Stetson University. He went on to receive a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from Florida State University. He is active with the Boy Scouts, serving as a serving as Council Vice President for Relationships of the Greater Tampa Bay Area Council. George served six years as Chairman of the Florida Housing Coalition and is also the former Chair of the West Central Florida SHIP Steering Committee. He has served on the Executive Board of the Pasco County United Way and the Pasco Homeless Coalition. He was appointed by both Governor Bush and Crist to the Affordable Housing Study Commission. He received the Outstanding Public Servant Award from the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce and the Outstanding Government Service Awards from the West Pasco Board of Realtors. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
