STEVE KROPP is the Director of Affordable Housing Development with the Florida Housing Coalition. Previously, Steve served as the President of LCA Development, a development firm that produced over 5,000 apartments within 17 complexes throughout Central Florida—a mix of tax-credit housing, tax-exempt bond housing, and market-rate projects. Kropp supports nonprofit developers across Florida in advancing their affordable housing developments from predevelopment through construction.

Kropp has been a licensed real estate broker in Florida for over 30 years. He is a retired MAI and CCIM and spent several years as an appraiser and broker working on apartment complexes, retail centers, planned developments, and office projects throughout Florida. In addition, he received concurrent master’s degrees: an MBA and a Master’s in Real Estate Valuation and Urban Analysis from the University of Florida, where he was a Matherly Scholar.
