This training will address a variety of policy initiatives to increase the supply of affordable housing in Florida. Presenters will discuss statewide standards for certain affordable housing developments in commercial, industrial, and mixed-use zones and the three property tax exemptions for affordable housing in the Live Local Act. Participants will learn how local governments can use their land use authority to require, facilitate, and encourage the production of affordable housing.
