The Florida Community Land Trust Institute presents Community Land Trust Lending, a symposium produced by the Florida Housing Coalition and sponsored by Fannie Mae. Community Land Trusts are expanding access to homeownership for low income home buyers across Florida. Families who were formerly unable to purchase a home are now able to do so via the reduced prices made available by Community Land Trusts.
Come learn why CLTs are increasing in number and capacity, how Fannie Mae supports lending for community land trust purchases, and about a new Third- Party Seller Guideline Review that reduces the underwriting burden for lenders when originating CLT loans.
Lunch will be served and the event will be followed by an optional walking tour of Hannibal Square Community Land Trust properties in Winter Park.
