The Catalyst program is administered by the Florida Housing Finance Corporation.
This webinar will help local governments develop a selection system to identify SHIP eligible applicants and consider how to prioritize them in accordance with the selection criteria identified in the LHAP. In addition, the training will address selection criteria for sponsors that will build or repair housing with SHIP. Sub-recipient selection will also be addressed since several SHIP communities outsource SHIP administrative tasks and strategy implementation to non-profit or for-profit organizations. The presenters will address SHIP requirements and suggest language for a Request for Proposal. Participants will learn about selection criteria and how to score applications.
