Paola Roman serves as a Senior Program Manager on the Affordable Housing Development team with the Florida Housing Coalition, where she provides training, technical assistance, and development advisory services to nonprofit organizations, faith-based institutions, and local governments. Her work focuses on affordable housing development, nonprofit capacity building, Florida’s YIGBY initiative, and the Predevelopment Loan Program (PLP).

Paola brings more than 20 years of experience in affordable housing finance and real estate development. She previously held executive leadership positions with leading South Florida nonprofit affordable housing organizations, including Carrfour Supportive Housing, and currently provides development advisory services to the Urban League of Broward County on a multi-phase affordable housing community. She has extensive experience structuring public-private partnerships and advising nonprofit organizations on project feasibility, developer selection, financing strategies, and project implementation. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Miami and is a licensed Florida Real Estate Sales Associate.
