Ending Homelessness
The Florida Housing Coalition has provided support to local governments, nonprofits, homeless Continuums of Care, and their partners. We provide expertise to communities throughout Florida to deliver real and innovative solutions for reducing homelessness. To achieve this goal we:
- Help communities utilize resources more effectively
- Implement best practices to end homelessness
- Develop collaboration among key community stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes
State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP)
The Florida Housing Coalition supports local governments, nonprofits, and their developer and financial partners by providing assistance with SHIP, State HOME, and other affordable housing programs. We offer guidance on effective program design and help organizations comply with state and federal housing regulations. We also help them identify partners and resources, implement programs and account for the results and spending. Below is a list of some of the services we provide:
- Affordable Housing Program Design and Implementation

Land Use & Nonprofit Development
The Florida Housing Coalition provides in depth, focused training and technical assistance designed to build the capacity of nonprofit organizations with the goal of increasing the supply and quality of housing that is affordable throughout the state of Florida. We provide assistance through the following programs:

Housing & Community Development
The Florida Housing Coalition focuses on strengthening local governments through training, technical assistance and consulting services on HUD programs, state housing and community development programs, and grants administration and compliance. Services include:
