WEBINAR: Hurricane Preparedness & Elderly Resilience: Supporting Outreach and Coordination
July 14 - 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Join us on July 14 at 1:30 p.m. for a special webinar on hurricane disaster impacts and risks to older adults in our communities. FHC Technical Advisor Dayna Lazarus will provide highlights from a report from the Disaster Housing Task Force on risks and challenges faced by older adults. The report includes recommendations for improving preparedness plans and immediate post-disaster housing response andcoordination. Information will support updates to human services, emergency management, and multi-family property management programs.
