SUMMARY:WEBINAR- Accessing Infrastructure Funds for Housing
DESCRIPTION:[et_pb_section][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text] \nThis webinar series addresses water\, sewer\, road\, and more types of infrastructure important to affordable housing development.  Unless your affordable housing will be on well and septic or “off-grid\,” public infrastructure will be essential.  Florida’s infrastructure systems can be spotty- even in urban areas.   Capital improvements for infrastructure are scheduled many years out and can delay the development of affordable housing.  Moreover\, the cost of bringing lines to the site is a cost that can sink the housing development budget.  The presenters will address the two housing infrastructure trust funds for the Wastewater Grant Program and the Resilient Florida Grant Program.  Learn about funding available for water\, sewer\, road\, and more types of infrastructure. The presenters will explore best practices to reserve infrastructure for affordable housing as found in the SHIP Incentive Plan framework. \nREGISTER HERE\n[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]
