Learn about changes that affect fair housing and impact affordable housing. This workshop will review recent actions and requirements to Affirmatively Further Fair Housing. Presenters will discuss the Obama Administration’s fair housing priorities, how they specifically affect affordable housing programs, and changes in the requirements of local government responsibilities under the Fair Housing Act.

Real life examples of issues and resolutions will be provided from a variety of situations involving condo boards, review committees, property acquisitions and the Abilities Amendment. There will be discussions on getting approvals for exterior modifications in multi-family properties and ways to make the process go more smoothly.
